In a very welcome piece of news, Discotek Media has announced they have obtained licenses to release both the Lupin the 3rd VS Detective Conan TV Special from 2009 and Lupin the 3rd VS Detective Conan: The Movie from 2013 in the United States.

Both releases will—at the very least—be subtitled and, judging by their stellar track record on recent Lupin releases, contain some valuable extras as well. No word has been passed on as to whether the releases will be only on DVD or will also be issued in Blu-ray varieties. We’ll keep you posted as more information is released.
